The deployathon booth showed a server application written using Enterprise JavaBeans, deployed across a set of 12 platforms (server-product / OS combinations). Quite impressive. Commoditized server-side application deployment is a good thing.

Here are some more servers, including WebSphere. The silver-haired fella in the center of the photo just happens to be one of the 2 guys from IBM who graciously let me sit at their table. What are the odds, I'm working on a WebSphere project right now...
